| Scotland Finally, we actually spent some time enjoying the scenery. This is what vacations are for. From the Caithness Glass Factory and the Scone Palace to our prestigious stay at the Airth Castle "&" Hotel. Turns out our dinner in the Castle was far more interesting then our accommodations in the "&" Hotel. Somewhere along the way I found myself captivated by the beauty and serenity of the villages where Lita's ancestors lived. St. Boswells, Ancrum, Chester's Grange, Melrose, and my personal favorite Strathmiglo just down the road from St. Andrews. We also took the opportunity to visit with her third great grandmother's brother's great grandson Gilbert Millican (you do the math). |
